Pediatric burns is a main public health problem worldwide including Thailand.
Estimated mortality from burns by WHO is 180,000 deaths per year and 20%
occurs in pediatric patients. African and South-East Asia are most incidence of
pediatric burn and have more than 7 times higher mortality than in high-income
countries. Accurate assessment and early resuscitation will decrease severity of
morbidity and mortality. The 15 model of pediatric patients are collected from Thai patients in King Chulalongkorn Memorial hospital

The 15 model of pediatric patients are collected from Thai patients in King
Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital and render to 3D model by The National
Institute of Development Administration (NIDA). 3D Ped Burn Resuscitation
application is a tool for medical professionals, calculates burn surface area by
painting the wound on 3D model, making it easy to perform burn assessment,
calculate resuscitation fluid and nutritional requirement.

The body surface area has calculated from Dubois or Mostellar formula. The
burn resuscitation fluid in this application has calculated by using American burn
association guideline (ABA guideline) or Parkland formula, maintenance fluid has
calculated from Holiday Segar formula. The nutritional requirement has calculated
from Galveston formula or modified Curreri formula.
